KUALA LUMPUR FRUITS WHOLESALERS ASSOCIATION

Founded by a group of fruit wholesalers from the old wholesale market at Jalan Ipoh in Kuala Lumpur, aim to provide assistance in mediation, resolving members' requests and create a positive business environment for member.

Introduction to the Association

Kuala Lumpur Fruits Wholesalers Association was founded by a group of fruit wholesalers from the old wholesale market at Jalan Ipoh in Kuala Lumpur. It was successfully registered as a society on August 22, 1973, and elected the late Mr. 许金发 as president along with 15 committee members. The purpose of the association is to promote friendship among its members, advance and safeguard their welfare, assist in mediating disputes between members when requested, and contribute to the welfare of society, the public, and the nation. The association also joins other organizations with similar purposes and goals to achieve these objectives. Currently, the association is a permanent member of The Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI). As of 2024, the association has 44 members, all of whom are fruit wholesalers in the Kuala Lumpur wholesale market.
